ה V-40HD הינו נתב וידאו באיכות גבוהה במיוחד אידיאלי במיוחד לכל אירוע, הופעה חיה או התקנה קבועה הדורשת מגוון פורמטים שונים של וידאו בו זמנית. מקורות הוידאו יכולים להיות דיגיטלים או אנאלוגיים. חיבורי HDMI הופכים את ה V-40HD לכלי עבודה נוח במיוחד בחיבור למצלמות ומחשבים.
